Well, yes, it is, but it soon comes round. And, once it does, then the first year is gone, so we like to mark a first birthday with something special.
The Cake Smash. It's one of my favorite types of sessions, make one hell of a mess, but it's great fun!
So, this particular cake smash session, we'd had booked for a while. The lady who booked the session is a friend of ours, and used to be our neighbor.
Her little boy, had a great time smashing his cake...
And of course, while we were there, we thought we'd get a few photos of his sisters too...
