And, just in case you haven't guessed already, I like spring.
Since I started in Photography, most of my work has been studio style, clean backdrops, controlled lighting etc. Everything pretty much has been a constant, and as much as I love studio photography, it is nice to use a different backdrop. And what better than the Great Outdoors.
It's part of the reason that I love Spring (and Summer too, for that matter), as it affords me the chance to get outdoors and offer some On-Location sessions.
Now, with the coming of Spring (there's that word again..) there are some changes happening in the world around us; The weather gets warmer, the light lasts longer, the trees no longer look like they belong on a Halloween movie set, and most importantly, the flowers start to bloom!
This year, I intend to get more photo's in the flowers, and, at the minute one type of flower has grabbed my attention....
A few days ago, I was made aware of a local location, only a few miles away, that in Spring offers a great setting for "Woodland Photos". So, yesterday, we went out to check the location out.
This Spring I will be holding some special Bluebell Woodland photography Sessions.
So, we took the kids to school, got out youngest Son in his seat on the back of the bike, and went for a ride. Okay, so it took us around and hour to get there, as we took a 'scenic' route, but it was a nice ride, and upon arriving it was just what we were expecting. The location was perfect.
Now, of course this is an On-Location shoot only, but, don't worry, they're not too far, in fact they're only about a 10 minute drive from the Grimsby Town Center. Full details will be provided upon booking the session.
A perfect opportunity to have stunning On-Location portraits captured in a beautiful ancient woodland with a chance to capture the images with a fantastically beautiful backdrop of the woods and a carpet of Bluebells.
I will be offering two sittings a day (to ensure that I am able to give the best attention to the creation of perfect and beautiful images that you will cherish forever), one in the morning, and one in the afternoon.
They will be held on the following dates:
April 16,
April 17,
April 18,
April 20,
April 21,
April 22 & April 23.

The sessions are just £35, and last for around 1-1½ Hours, to ensure that we have plenty of time. They also include:

Of course, this is a very much "Mother Nature" led session, and I can't predict the blooming of the bluebells, so I will keep checking the location, and if we need to move the session, then I will contact you to discuss this.
